basically i drove all the way to nottingham,took 4 hours! got to the fella house and collected my new car, all was good until i got 20mins down the road and the car died!!!! thought whats going on, All electrics in the car had died and the engine just cut out?

So drove to a garage in the other car we had to take up there to get some jump leads and hey presto im away. 5 mins later the mrs calls me whilst she is behind me ( on hads free might i ad ;)) and says my cars lights are all out!

Bearing in mind its getting dark and pissing down with rain i pull over and the car dies again on the a1 south bound where there is no hard shoulder, i had no indicators to show i was pulling over so just come to a stop. The mrs was behind me in the astra and she put her hazzards on but nearly had a mitsubishi l200 drive into the back of her, with her and my 2 year old daughter in the car.,

Any how the car had died again so i decided enough was enough, i couldnt get 20 miles down the road in it but had to try and do a 170 mile journey home all on the motorway lol.

so my new car lasted all of 15 mins,

I have only just got in after leaving the house a 11:30 am.

to ad insult to injury i had filled the car up with v power for the return journey as it was bone dry.

Get some AA cover ten call them in the morning to say you've broken down

If all the electrics are dying then it's more than likely going to be the alternator. What car is it?

Surely you have a friend that can sub you a lift in exchange for sexual favours or something. Why don't you ring the police and explain the situation to them? They may have some sympathy and retrieve it for you to collect at a later date (plus storage fees)

technically there is 3 weeks loft on mot and tax was sent back but wouldnt have been sorn until today as it was lastday of month so had both, just valid tax wasnt displayed so cops could have got arsey ect.
