Running in?

I just purchased a pair of 12" subs and installed them in the boot,but before I start killing my hearing I need to know how to "run in" them in.I read about it in a car mag but not to sure the correct way to do it.Can 1 of you ear bleeder's help. smileys/smiley4.gif

leave the amp gain on very low, dont spank the nuts off them, build up volume slowly over time gradually turning the gain and volume up.

Basically dont put them in, whack the gain up and turn the volume up to 184718948.

if you want our speakers to last and good quality...definately take it easy with the gain
