why didn't you go to tax office and get it yourself? I did, just filled in two forms and gave them my P60 and got a nice cheque through the post a few weeks later :A:

Wonder if they are only announcing it to hide the new car tax rules?

They automatically calculated my tax overpay last year and i got an unexpected cheque through the post.

I have received a letter saying any tax overpay will be automatically calculated and re-paid by cheque within 6 months of the end of the tax year and i won't have to do anything :y:

Hmmm, diverting attention away from the other tax hikes.

F***ers, all of 'em. Politicians, that is!

Just taxed my car for 6 months yesterday (£101.75) but because I taxed it online I only got 5 months and 1 day :wall:

£260 a year for the focus next year :n: Might revert to using the VTS as a daily drive at this rate - less than £200 for the year
