to get the full effect you need to take the same pic at three different exposures -2,0,+2 or supply a RAW file. the whole point of using the software is that is extends the dynamic range by merging the exposures. allowing you to achieve detail in the highlights and shaddows which would be missing from a single exposure

Wow gonna play with this, never really touched HDR but have loads of untouched RAW files I can play with :)
