vts problems urgent

about to have a look at my vts as its got a few idlin problems and sometimes judders slightly wen drivin like its in the wrong gear or sumin. where will i find the idle control valve and is there anythin else i could check and clean? think it mite be burnin a little rich too as the emmisions are a little high. rep given even though not sure how you do it. thanx:wall:

The idle air control valve is on the throtle body i think and its usualy that tht causes the irratic idle and hi emissions, could also be a clogged air filter thats causing hi emissions. hope this helps.

basically where your air filter joins to on your throttle its usally on there - it got some sort of plug connecting to back of it- what i been told anyway
