why two 15's?

two 12's in correct boxes will be just about as loud and sound a lot better musically.

For an amp to power them your looking to match up RMS ratings of the subs and amp(s)

Also budget for front compnent speakers and an amp to power them and you will have yourself a very tidy system

The only reason i want two 15's is that my mates selling and alpine 15" type R, but if two 12" will be the same, if not better. Ill do that. I'm wanting to get a fibre glass install in the boot, and fibre glass door cards, with the compent speakers in. Good idea or not? What sort of 12" subs are really good, and worth buying? Sorry for all the questions smileys/innocent.gif
Thanks alot chris.

the loudest system does not take one subsmileys/smiley2.gif loud can be defined in a lot of ways but the loudest systems on earth most definetely do not use one sub.

Good idea with the fibreglass.

Best 12" sub is opening a can of wormssmileys/smiley17.gif and its also going to put a MASSIVE dent in your budget if you want the "best" 12" sub.

Have a gander on www.talkaudio.co.uk absolutely shit loads of information and discussions on there smileys/happy.gif
