Right i know this has prob been asked loadsa times but i've looked at the other topics on wiring neons and they dont seem to work for the switch i've bough as it has 8 terminals on it. smileys/smiley11.gif

Got some l.e.d light bars in the footwells, strimmed the ends off them so they got bare wires ready to wire into the switch and merged 4 wires into 2 wires so i've only got one of each going to the switch.

Switch = Savage Aluminium push button (lights up blue)

Problem is how to wire into the back of the ciggy cos i cant tell the wires apart, one of them looks like an earth but not sure on the other 2. Also, by looking at the drawing i've ogtta a wire left over with no where for it to go to, which i know isnt right smileys/smiley5.gif This is as far as i've got and now i need you electrical guru's to guide me further so i dont short out my whole car. smileys/smiley2.gif

looked in my haynes max powerm anual but doesnt have any info on the ciggy lighter, someone here must know how this s*** wires into the ciggy? smileys/smiley13.gif

why dont u just join positives together and negatives then put straight into a fag lighter plug? asuming the light bars just go on or off

i've already got em on a fag lighter plug with a switch on the back of the plug, its just it looks a bit messy hanging out of the bottom tray and at night i really wanna have my snooper plugged in at the same time, i suppose it'll do for now until i can figure out how to put it in properly.

Tho i've got a bit further with it now, i've got most of the wiring complete, i just need to know what each of the 3 wires on the back of the cig lighter are, if anyone can shed any light on this i'd be very grateful smileys/smiley4.gif
