My vtr got broken into today outside southend east station, they forced the lock on drivers side and fucked it so i cant lock it and bent the door doing it, they robbed my nice pioneer stereo and yes i did stupidly leave the facia in the glove box but i had de-pinned the doors so they couldnt break in and have dumb flashing light to ward them off but obviously that didnt work, the plod aint coming round to look at car until wednesday evening but the insurance co want to take it away to get it fixed (£150 excess),
so be warned even if you de-pin it these wankers can still force the lock, so as you can imagine im seriously pissed off and i go on holiday in less than a week so cant afford this bollocks now, these cocksuckers dont realise how much they fuck with peoples lives, so if you get offered a pioneer stereo its prob mine, and if i find out who did it they will find it fucking hard to walk again,
i actually feel like ive been arse raped.

Theres a mad Peugeot breaking spree going on in Bath if anyone knows the area...

Basically dont park a 106 in any of the town car parks, i know 4 people (1 was a 306) that have had theres done in the last few months

Hole next to the lock and ripped the whole dashboard out. My best mate had just had his £200 stereo that his mrs bought him for christmas fitted when the C**** did his. They did so much damage the insurance company declared his car a write off.

My ex had hers done there too, but the insurance company paid out almost all of the £900 repair costs (including replacing the stereo) but obviously she had to pay excess and a little bit extra on top.

These people are scum, they dont take into account that to some people its not JUST a car, to some people its their jobs, their hobbies etc. If i lost my car i wouldn't be able to get to work, therefore wouldnt be able to earn a living for a while, but then half of them wouldnt know what EARNING a living means

Thats gutting as well, when you lose a lot of personal stuff.

When my mate had his done and his stereo nicked him and the girl had been shopping, had two pairs of brand new footy boots nicked and couple hundred quid worth of clothes etc.

I went longwell green cinema last week and parked right behind a hedge, walking to the car after (it was quite late) there were hardly any cars left, and you couldnt see mine behind the hedge, all 3 of us thought it had been nicked, i was literally bricking it. Fuckin hedge hiding my car! Got to it and found the door open though, my mate had not shut it properly, he almost walked home!!

so who do people actually delock there saxo's ?

De pin matey? There's a guide for it here (http://www.saxperience.com/mods/show-article.php?artid=31)

Be really careful where you park is all I can say matey, maybe walking a bit further and getting soaked a bit more in the rain could be worth it for a really secure car park :y: I use my work's Yard behind the security gates whenever I go to town, otherwise I always park in a really visible busy area :A:

i got my delocked.
but yeah simple rules

try parking under lighting, open spaces where its visble to a main road.
get a alarm.
UV you items so if it is stolen and later recovered then the police can use a uv light to see if theres any marking on it, to trace it back to its owner.

all my ice stuff is uv'd

makin it arder to brak in is not always the best idia, if they wont to get in they will

8th September 2008, 22:46
That sucks, in Bristol near me my friends 106 got broken into twice and another friend has his broken into, then a brick through the window. Tbh best way of avoiding it is, if your going to modify your car in anyway make sure you get alarmed up properly. The guy at the garage told my friend if he keeps, exhaust or bodykit, lights etc. on then it will continue to happen, which it did till he got a proper alarm system fitted.

lol not really, only if it was really worth it. They wouldn't want to make more fuss for something they would be likely to find similar equipment in another car that is easier to brake into.
