engine management light

Hi, my downpipe had a massive crack in it just under the mani and my engine management light came on, ive had a new downpipe fitted today but the light is still on, my bro said it might need resetting.

Any Ideas?

Aye need the light resetting matey, a garage with a diagnostics machine should not charge much

It might clear itself after 40ish miles or so, like my VTS did after replacing a faulty lambda probe. Failing that a local garage should be able to clear it for you for a small fee :y:

my engine management light came on- took it to get dianostic test, all they had to do was restset it- was something to do with lamba sensor

somtimes by disconecting the battery for a short length of time (10mins) that can erase the memory but if u have a coded radio make sure you have your code...
it cost nothing to do and most garages wont do it for free..
