Hey there..
Ive just recently brought a CS Furio and all is well apart from one little annoyance. From underneath the car often i can hear a sharp kind of squeaking noise and was wondering what it was..
i understand this is probably hard for you guys to diagnose because it could be .. well pretty much anything but i have a little extra info.
I have a hole in the front section of my exhaust which i am due to replace in a couple of weeks, i am guessing (and hoping) that this could well be the culprit and that its rubbing on something. I heard that the gear linkage can also squeak and is a common fault with saxos so it may well be that aswell.
The squeaking noise mostly happens when i am reversing or am at low speed (driving round a carpark etc) it can also happen when i am slowing down (not braking) but slowing down in general, this has led me to beleive it has nothing to do with the brakes.
Any suggestions peeps? - i dont want to take my car for maintenance and explain the situation to them, they could make up anything and say "this this, this and this" needs fixing which would probably cost me an arm and a leg ..... then again maybe ive just watched too many Rogue Traders :fcuk:
