is the 106 gti gear box the same as a vts?

hi just wondering if ne 1 nose if the pug 106 gti gear box is the same as my vts one cause i need a new 1 and been lookin on the net and have seen that pug and citroen are about the same can ne 1 tell me if this is true? thx
