Service Spanner Light

in my vtr is the service spanner light ment to always be on and also it says next to the spanner when you turn the ignition on it says 34000 what does it mean

no if ur service spanners always on it means ur due for a service... does it always stay on or does it go off after a few seconds?

it always stay on while the car is running

It just means you need a service, you can get this light reset. Also this doesn't mean that there is a problem it will just stay on until you've had it reset!

or you can turn it off your self

put keys in ignition
press and hold milage counter button
keep pressed in and turn ignition on to phase 2
keep button pressed will see it counting down
when it stops counting down release button
turn off ignition then start car as normal
should have now gone off

but it aint advisable to miss a service !!

i wouldnt miss a service but it say my car is due for a service in 34000 miles which i know full well is rong
