ok guys my vtr is shaking like an earth quake, im pretty sure its the engine mount as i had this probelm 3 years ago. it feels like its coming from the front passenger side. thing is i can get a new mount on ebay for aroung 25-30 quid. but is there a specific mount i need or are they the same. as im not sure how many engine mounts the saxo vtr has.
thnks in advance guys

There is 2 engine mounts and 1 gearbox mount, the problem could be any of them, from the location that you said, it will be the gearbox mount! hope this helps!

also just to be sure where do the 3 engine mounts go on the saxo car. as im not sure. reason im asking is i need my car on sundar really importantly, so i wanna get that part now. i can refund later, but dont have enough 2 buy and test all 3, lol. thanks once again

If you have a GSF car parts that would be perfect, or any local motor factors group would also sort you out. The one you need will be the gearbox mount and it will be the only one attached to the gearbox on the underneath!

ive got the lower one from the gearbox - you've got the ecu mount which is connected to the engine, the upper gearbox mount and the lower gearbox mount.
if you can identify whcih one has gone, it'll be a lot easier :D
open the bonnet, and rock the engine back and forth.
i can fit the mount for you this evening if its the lower gearbox one
