Ironic that every time i try to sort out my car something else goes wrong. Recently my electric windows have buggered up. I know it's a long shot as there could be one of many problems causing it, but hopefully my questions will help narrow down whats causing them to break..

Basically, the electric window conversion was done before i got the car.

The switches for the windows are in the little money type pocket in the middle, (under the radio? and infront of the gear stick).

Now the only thing i've tried is to check all the fuses under the glove box (would that be where the fuses are for the electric windows?) none of them were blown so that couldnt have been the cause.

What else would i be able to check? and where would they possibly be on the car?

If it is the window motor thats buggered how much approx would it cost? or would i need to find out what model it is etc?

Not the only one! I'm guessing it may be something to test the power?! see if any current is going through and so on?

Fixed it btw, thanks! I basically followed the wires to each window from the switches,
there was a third wire which went up under the steering wheel, found a round capsule with a plastic cube thing in the middle, the cube thing had a wire wrapped around it, and it seems the wire had melted into the plastic cube, which broke the circuit i guess. i just replaced the wire, then put it back in, and tada it worked
