Nah, just make sure it's firmly in place when fitting.

It'd be easier to attach the cover to the gasket then place on the car as a whole btw.

Then for a couple of days after fitting just keep an eye out for any leaks.

new rocker rubber gasket isnt very expensive, just give i a clean with a dry cloth then torque the two nuts up

You won't need to torque it up, just go by sight and feel and be sure not to over tighten the rocker bolts, remember to start it up and get it warm then look around for any signs of leaks once fitted!

All you need to do is fit the gasket to the rocker and bolt it back on!

just make sure it beds properly or it will just get worse, watch that the head dont lift as it will loosen the taps etc.

they do have a torque setting if you have a torque wrench then its best to use it tbh

i dont usually torque them up just hand tight usually, good practice to do it though
