I don't pay insurance as it goes through our trade insurance (mam's BF's business)

I'm 22 with 4 years no claims.... i want to keep building up my no claims for obvious reasons

Quote fully comp on a 53 plate 172 cup came back at £570.15
My Astra came back at - £649.95

That's the first quote i've done (directline) as i can't be arsed with all the confused.com people calling my mobile for the next week

The above prices are my own policy fully comp - no named drivers etc

The trade insurance has all the Recovery trucks , Company cars , Vans etc.... Also has my car, mams car, bikes etc on

Mam's bf pays about £5k a year insurance and he's 52 :)

I could stay on that policy but i'd rather keep building my no claims.... 172 cup will be purchased if i can sell my skip

Only thing I would suggest is, when you get to 5yrs NCB doesn't it class it as the maximum then? ie insurance will only get cheaper with age.

All i need to do now is flog the astra.... but a 172 cup (got my eye on a minter) then i'll have shed loads of money to spend on the car and my room (fishy tank, pool table, new bed ftw)

TBH I cant remember, ill check tonight. If it's more than 900 im phoning them and letting them know if they dont match or beat direct lines quote im leaving.
