well when im driving at night my lights seem seriously low to view the road ahead ive tried playing with the switch by the steering wheel which moves them up and down but they still do not go high enough for me to view the road properly is there any other way of making the light adjusted for the beam of light to go higher?
Thanks will be repped

i cant understand why it wouldn't be high enough mate. have u had a good look at the lights themselves and checked the bulbs and positions of them?
is the brightness of the light fine, just not aimed high enough or is the brightness low as well?

brightness is fine mate they are 100watt bulbs aswel ! i cant seem to point the light any higher either ! .....one of them has a slightly mishaped bulb reflector which could be a slight cause but shudnt effect it that much
and it still means the other light points low toward the ground :S

100w bulb.. isn't a standard bulb 55w? maybe you'e damaged the wiring by drawing in too much current?

the beam pattern will just need adjusting, take it to a garage and they will be able to sort it out for you.

You are possibly expecting to much. If it looks low under low beam then this is the way it should be. It is so you do not dazzle oncoming drivers. The ideal is that you don't want two cars with a closing speed off 120mph to hit one another head on. This is as you would not walk away. You should be using high beam when there are no other drivers about so you can see further.
On the other hand if it is high beam that is the problem there are a few things that could be going on. If you know of a really big building you can park about 100m away from you can aim your lights at it and see what there really doing. If they really are aiming down it may be you have a broken mount or there simply adjusted wrong. You can take it to a garage and they will adjust the beam for next to nothing if its simply that. You cant really do it your self as there are regs to govern lights and you have to have a test unit to do it correctly.

You can make the adjustment yourself, there are two white adjustment screws that will adjust the headlight's left to right and up and down. I would suggest using a wall or fence to see what height they are at and then bringing them up a bit, as said though don't bring them up too high as you will blind other people!

Is the car lowered?

If you have a 3 position switch to adjust the height then surely theres a motor on each light so could it be a motor fault?

....the motors do tend to work as when i move the switch the headlights do go up and down the headlights point further down scince i smoked them so im not sure if i put the motors back in correctly....

it could be the aternator or battery knacking up, my lights were really dim and wipers were proper slow, and that was my problem i could be wrong :)
