Got done for my front tints about 20mins ago lol

36.3% or something..........

Only got a £30 fine but i need to take them off

Hairdryer will do BUT what will i use to get the glue off the window

T-cut also works on the stickness left behind thats what i used when i got done

All about Meths mate. Thats what i used to take out my tints. Litrally just wipes off.

Take your time removing the tints, to try and minimise the resin they leave behind!

I think i just used glass cleaner + elbow grease/time to remove the sticky residue.

My fronts were letting just about 30% light through, IIRC. Fortunately he was a nice police chap and said if i remove them ASAP nothing will come of it. And so i did..

I take it your car was made after 2001 and you dont have a certificate dated around or before then?

The cop said windows as standard let 75% of light in so any tint is illegal

T-Cut glass? may aswell get a rock and do it... T-Cut is an abrasive.


Nail polish remover will do it, but you'll get high off the fumes
