Aren't they great.

Memories of when you had no responsibility, no real aim, just to play with toys, play NES/mega drive, eat lots, watch tv & films, draw crap, school discos, birthday partys etc.

Isn't getting older a stressful manic afair?

Or am i chatting bollocks as always!

Yeah there are times when you think back 'to the good old days' even if it was only 4 or 5 years ago lol! It's kind of depressing, and i actually really miss school aswell, being with all my mates together, was a right laugh!

Weird thing is, when i was young i always wished i was older as the older you got the more stuff you could do, then you get older and realise it's much harder than you expected.

Don't get me wrong i love being independent. Just you become part of generic working society, you have to work to live, it's pretty hard to just say one day that you want a break. I guess that's what holidays are for but i always come off a holiday feeling more nackered than before lol

Got buying a house to look forward to next, which will put an end to my cars and social life, all work no play. Then people of our generation won't be retiring till 70+ at this rate unless they earn loads.

Bring on retirement i say! Life goes full circle.

19 was a bad age for me, realised i had to grow up so got much more sensible and had a boring year. Come to think of it, best days of my life, 15-18yrs old.

SNES - i've still got mine at work to play on lunch breaks :D Had a NES too, that rocked.

i miss the not worrying.... when youre young you dont have the stresses or the consequences to think of.... now, everything is stressfull IMO. money, women... or lack of, a house to run alone. to think 6 years ago i was 16... just got a job, moped, bit of freedom, having good times with mates and now... 6 years on, just 6 years, i have the same job, a car with constant issues, a house, bills, bills, bills, no time, no money... worst of all no company to come home to..... gets me down tbh!

i know people are more than likely in the same situation but just wanted a lil rant... free up some lonely.

id give anything for lazy weekend mornings with cartoons again!
