SQUEAK

why does my car squeak it only appears to happen when my car is running and I'm driving along every now and then it makes a quick squeaking noise?? I tried the suspension whilst the car was parked and turned off but no noise. Could it be my gears or clutch as my car has bridged over 60,000 miles and I don't think it's had those parts replaced, any ideas peeps smileys/smiley5.gif

I dont know if it helps, but mine used to squeak when i got out or got in. Latter it made an metallic on and off sound but only when driving and turning to the left. It turn out to be the rear axle. The place where the suspension arm attaches to the axle started to rust because of an old rubber seal. I had it replaced last month and its ok now.
