New business plan - Slinky style -
1. You need a business partner to share ideas and costs with
2. A plan of wat u want your business to involve
3. Business Loan from the bank
4. Buy some property for the business
5. Make loads of money, buy a phat car, phat crib, hot tub, mini bar
Then life is good! smileys/smiley4.gif

unfortunately starting and running a business just isn't like this.
alot of planning and you need to know alot of the law for it. Capital is needed and plenty of it, a plan for products, how to market, budgeting, selling. Once yous tart a business if it isn't LTD and you go bust the bank will take anything you own and sel it to return the loan.
So you have to decide LTD or not...then with LTD companies everything has to be accounted for so you just can't take money out of the company account or else the government will be after you to find out why.
As for reasonable hours...obviously you aint aware of running a business..hours are longer owning a place! twice as long! you have the responsibility of paying suppliers, paying your wage, paying the busy running costs...alot more hours! then you have to do your account books every so often which will take ages especially if you don't have an accountant!

for getting stuff...it takes alot of time and effort and moving alot of quantity before you will be able to buy direct from the factory!
Find a distributor and once you get big enough you cut them out and move onto buying from the factory
