View Full Version : where to park in manchester?

going to visit my girlfriend at manhester met uni for a couple of days, shes at cambridge hall on cavendish street(im hoping that means anything to anyone) and this doesnt have its own parking, so need somewhere safe to leave the car for a couple of days and nights?
any suggestions?

go on the train tbh, i wouldnt leave my car anywhere for a few days.

then your car will probably get broken into lol. Take all the stereo fully out so theives can see the hole, might put them off a little bit. Still get piss heads kicking your mirrors off though probably. Used to happen to my mates car all the time

Park under the student village (MSV) - its car park is the cheapest around. Its on the road next to john dalton building, next to Scu2 bar.

I would say park somewhere out in the middle of nowhere that has a train link to manchester and then get the train in. hardly convenient, but have you ever tried driving around manchester? its hell!

bloody hell what a nightmare! all one way around here! found some staff parking in the end next to halls.

park it near me and we can talk saxos then get train for £2.60 into town (15mins), straight to the uni (my uni), if not then find the ncp car parking near circus casino and park it there, the join the casino and claim the free parking, its all underground and secure as hell with ferraris and mercs etc in there..

or do what danneh said..
