View Full Version : Beware of Vts-yes
Mattt-VTR

If anyone is intending to buy of vts-yes then don't!!
I sent him money for a sat nav, which he has promised week after week to send! I contacted him and his partner, and now they are claiming they have never heard of me, and that i am trying to scam them! Even though i sent money to the same e-mail address as i sent the message to and also got one back from them claiming i don't know them!!
Worste thing yet is they have set up a website about knive crime, and also a paypal donation option, this is also a scam to get money!

£80, i know it ain't a lot, but its the principle and the fact he has set up a website saying it is a charity, and asking for donations! Fuck

But cheers ryan, i am deffo going to take this to the police or SCC.

If the member is scamming money, there is a department iirc for internet based fraud..

Once opened, then canceled, you're not allowed to open another.
Hence advising to call PayPal and see what measures can be taken regarding re-opening a case for it.

rather sadly conmen exist in all parts of life.
the internet makes it easyer to con.
However we are not deffinately saying this member is a conman until we have had further information on this sitauation, as acusations can be unfair long term.

How has nobody said... "Sax-p convoy to him" yet? It's usually the 2nd or 3rd answer.
Worste thing yet is they have set up a website about knive crime, and also a paypal donation option, this is also a scam to get money!
Do you have this website?
If you do (and it is actually a scam), I imagine you can forward it on/report it to the Police. Pretty serious offence I think as well, saying it will go to a charity and keeping the donations...?

Yeah that's bad, just think making a thread will warn people of him, and as for him organising meets and him attending is like having a death threat!
Even if i did win the dispute thru pay-pal he has no money in his bank account to do the re-fund, as this has happened to another member of here, so it is pointless.

that doesnt matter, i have had it done to me, there PayPal account itself will go overdrawn, and then PayPal will start asking for the money that is owed on the account, ending up not paying will result in them getting the debt collectors in. Has happened to me selling stuff on the 'bay and people paying, then retracting the money after it has gone into my bank account, therefore leaving my PayPal account itself overdrawn.

Well i was stupid to open a dispute then close it as he said he would send it, now i can not re-open it, so i can't go thru paypal even though i basically begged on the phone for them to re-open it.
