hi iv just bought to amps one for my subs and one for my speakers, i was just woundering how to set them up, ie getting power to both of them!

min 4 guage wiring, distributor block to ditribute the power, basically a box take the input from the large battery lead, then safely splits it into numerous outputs

if u get a ripspeed sale booklet from halfrauds it has a wiring diagram etc in it lol i was readin this morning

Plus,dont forget you have to split your remote wire and I found it best to run both earth wires to the same point so you dont get any wine or feed back through the speakers.

i always like to an a fused distorbution block to the power cable. Its recommemded more then needed.

As a rule too you should only run upto 3 amps of the remote cable from your headunit, if you need to run more (and again i do this for more then one amp) then run a relay system, this way it will not cause any overloading problems at the headunit.

Good point on the earth, always earth things at the same place. Beleive it or not no two places in your car earth the same, even if its too the chasis, the values always differ around your vehicle.

also people dont screw your amps to metal screw them to wood (mdf) and then screw the wood to the back of the seat as it can couse an earth loop.
