Hi, welcome to the site :y: Haven't got a westcoast personally but have heard they're great cars! Saxo's are generally great anyway but do take some maintaining imo :)

In reply to your question whats best to tune it, i'd recommend some simple breathing mods to start you off with. Basically find yourself an induction kit, i'd recommend BMC or Raceland. Then buy yourself a nice exhaust, i'd recommend a 3" Magnex system as they're quite quiet in the low revs.

Aslong as you look after the westcoast it will look after you. If it hasn't had a service in a while i'd get it a full service, new filters, new oil etc.

Also for looks give it a good clean and polish :y:

If it still isn't fast enough for you and you dont want to spend lots then strip it out, lose the back seats, doorcards, sound deadening etc.

With simple breathing mods, a good service, and less weight it should be able to keep up with a poorly looked after VTR.

I wouldn't recommend spending too much on the westcoast for performance, just get some your ncb up then upgrade to a vtr/vts in a year or two from now.

Welcome to the site :y:

The green one off kam-racing by any chance?

Yes they're a good start :y:

Be better with a proper BMC / Raceland though :p

they arn't great because they can suffer from heat soak, probably better than standard though, but you get what you pay for, so sometimes its worth saving and getting the expensive stuff because it really makes a difference.
