Right I am going to look at a Saxo VTR 2001 mk2 tomorrow, it has done 47K miles. What should I look for apart from the obvious things when you look at a car, ie Saxo common faults etc.?
Cheers

just the usual things that you would look for mate, one thing i would do is start teh car, make sure it starts, tehn leave it to idle, let it heat right up and let the fan kick in a few times. I would do that jsut to make sure there is no erratic idle/stalling etc that can be common

also if you test drive it.. beware of sloppy gearboxes.. ino you always check it but with a saxo it develops fast

have you had it hpi'd mate? there are a few people who i know who could have that done for you.
check the service history, etc... regular services at regular intervals and stamped to prove it.
