Fun when your winning, tough when your not. Depends what kind of selling your talking about?

tbh im just a personality on legs.

Everything i have has been made through conversations.

Ive had drinks brought for me after arguements ive started about petty things such as "Why Jumpers are evil and should be banned" - While wearing one.

I've had a friend of the family ask if i want to work in Medical Recruitment Sales.

So would be meetings and calls but with regular customers, not cold calling.

Worth a shot?

yes worth a shot for sure.

Remember even though they are "regular" customers it doesnt take very much at all for regular customers to suddenly do one. And the buck stops with you...

I know that.

Its harsh, when i was working as a project manager, we'd switch companies for a matter of a few pennies.

was company policy to increase margins...

its every sales persons job to increase margins as well :P Margin funds acquisition to win new customers.

Some of our largest customers will spend a couple of million one month and change brands next month to save £20k, then switch back again.

Its a funny game sometimes but as I say when your on it its very rewarding in terms of satisfaction and of course in your pocket.

Not a great time at the moment with the credit crunch as its seriously affecting most sectors. But then again depends what your flogging :P

It would be Medical Professionals.

So like when an electrical company needs electricians.
Except when the NHS needs Doctors.

Lovely markups and comes out of all that Tax peopel pay on alcohol and Ciggarettes.

think i'll give him a ring and get a trial sorted
