High CO

Hi Guys I'm new to the Forum and asked this in the General forum but hoping somebody can help here. I have a 1.6VTR and the CO is a bit on the high side and has just scraped though the MOT. So the question is what do I need to look at or check to get the emissions down?

map sensor
ICV (idle control valve)

possibley coilpack

and check to see if you have a catylic converter....
