My Saxo Progress Thread

Riiight well where to start...This is going to be the progress thread of my new posi blue vtr! I bought here for a run about and a means of travel while my black one is off the road as im still waiting for insurance and things:n:

I bought the car for £900 about 2 weeks ago and it seems to be running alright but could do with some TLC! Its very near the 100,000 miles mark though! Im planning on keeping her until i know whats happening with my black vtr! You see its taking so long as although it was the womans fault who pulled out on me she is saying it the other way around and trying to blame it on me the biatch! :n::boxing: Then when i know i will pick one of the following options!
1) If her insurance fix my black vt ill sell the blue one and keep the black one!
2) If it goes 50/50 ill put the black vtr's engine into the posi blue vtr as it has less miles!
3) If her insurance pay out then ill probably sell the blue one and spend all the money on a better VTR or a new car!
4) If it turns out she wins and i get wrongly blamed ill be fuckin devastated and not leave the house ever again!

Anyway got the car completaly standard apart from she has been colour coded at some point in her life and as soon as i got her home i began the work!
Firstly i put the rear quarter windows on off the black vt as they are tinted!

Then i transferred my smoked back lights!
Took some t-cut to the rear badges which im really happy with and a hack saw to the back wiper!

Im planning on getting the alloys black soon and getting her lowered 60mm all round! Comments welcome! Also anything you think i should do to her let me know! Cheers...

I also sprayed the front grill as it was horribly grey! Heres some random pictures i took after giving her a little clean! Nothing major!

Only done work on the back...Planning on doing the front lights but thats how my first vtr came to its death!

Any suggestions on things to do to make it better?

nice car.them rear lights wont pass the mot i dont think though! Get it 50/60 drop 106gti side mirrors gti interior :)

I was looking for some GTI interior but aint got the money at the moment! If they dont pass then ill stick the standard ones on that came with it and are just sitting on the other car! Im thinking of getting it 60mm all round when i have all the little noises sorted as there beggining to worry me!

Tbh when i sprayed them i didnt want them as dark as they are! But they have grown on me!
