well the time has come to sell the saxo and get a new car. i dont know what to buy though. i have narrowed it down to two cars :

bmw 318 coupe or

honda civic coupe 1.6 sr v-tech


what do you guys think

how much you got to spend?

not a big fan of either to be honest but out of the two id say the civic.

about 3500 insurance is about the same price for both. im tempted for the beemer because of the rear wheel drive. ill get some sideways action lol

sideways isnt always a good thing tho, specialy in our guff scottish weather

id go for the v-tec out of the two! very tuneable and loads of parts available

well wen u get problems with an m3 engine..or a typeR engine - ur gonna hav to pay a damn sight more than wot u wud with a saxo

bigger engines r gonna get mor problems wen u hash them

was looking at imprezas but it would have to be one without the turbo. an impreza without a turbo is like a honda without the v -tech

already got quotes. i wouldnt get insured for a impreza turbo or a civic jordan

they dont have to be pushed as hard to get there though

im 20 an the buggers still deny me smileys/sad.gif might have to look to sell the car smileys/sad.gif although elephant quoted me 2569 or close to it....i firstly thought it was fully comp but then realises they only insured it under fire n theft smileys/sad.gif

u dont hav to push them, but they stil guzzle it up. unless u get a reasonably new 1, the economy isnt gonna b great at all

specially if u get this "sideways action" ur talking about

id go for the civic. hondas r built to last and hold theyr price really well

Defo go for he golf 150bhp if its the 16v, and quite quick. The bmw 318`s are well slow mate!!

dont like the mk2 golfs a bit too old for me. i like the mk3 though. and i would only get the 2.0 16v model

oof i LOVE mk2 golfs! theyr proper euro, and built like a brick shit house! if i found one with decent milage and good bodywork/chassis - id get it without hesitation! the gti 16v with big bumpers just makes me wet myself smileys/smiley9.gif cabrios r gorgeous too


but yeh - id reccomend a mark3 too, can look pretty damn awesome and highly modable
