Hi all, Geting all ready for nurburg in my impreza sti v1, and my water pipe from turbo splits, Causeing HG to blow!

Thing that really annoyed me was it only went very very minor, Cylender - water side, so insted of water entering the cylender, the gas's from the cylender where over pressureizing the system, causeing the water to escape from that rad cap!

I intended to do it befor nurburg but due to "royal mail" been sh1t, my gaskets never arrived meaning i had to take my 106gti.

So anyway, i started to take the engine and parts of.

bloody just snaped a bolt puting inlet manifold in, best not let air in :@

Tell me about it lol, did timing 2times because had to redo headbolts on 1side! lol

all seems fine tho timing wise, will know when i start her up,

had afew probs on way, turbo bolt snaped, inlet manifold bolt snaped!!

turbo bolt was easy 2 solve, inlet mani aint! hopfully it wont bloody leak air :(

Yes mate gota push these things :p


Engine is back in now, lol fort i had got timing wrong at fast as she would not start and a bang came from exhaust, but after changing coil leads round she started and run perfect :D

All is good, runs better than be4 as well :)
