Sold vts for new but old motor :D

helllo thought id make a seperat thread for the VTS beast :p. just swapped my scruffy vts wheels over with a set of mint ones wrapped with michelin pilots. if sold the scruffy ones for 200 to a member on here.

heres pics of my car. put a laguna splitter on last night.! looks well scruffy lol but at least the things on haha. just used glue to hold it up! i wonder how long that will last.

purchased a set of 306 gti cyclones. ready to be colour coded green with a gloss white lip. also got a set of spax 60mm lowering springs to go on as well!! anyways heres pics of the car.some pics you lot have seen already but anyhoo :homme:

splitter has aot of excess glue, havent had time to sort it out yet! but will look neat when its all done. leave comments peeeeople :boxing:.

these mint vts wheels will be up for sale without tyres soon btw.

hi mate the splitter is off a renault laguna. worth around 40pounds. i can get hold of one if you like. i put it on the wrong way using bonding glue only. i think people do it another way. but i just wanted to put it on lol.

any interest on the vts wheels let me know. theyll be up fpr sale in 2 weeks.

morretes with hole in light for intake :P
nice system exhaust

what are you using to strip the wheels? Nitromors? Let me know how easy/difficult it is as I'm thinking of doing mine

its quite good mate.but u need a wire brush to get rid of the stripperd paint and i aint got onr lol.itsstripped it down to its last coat but doesnt seem to go through it. but u can scratch it with your nails so a wire wool will do fine m8.

and yea nitro moors 15 pounds for 2.5 litres

found out that i have no wire brush.so fuking angry. had to leave bubbled paint on the wheels. found out using this nitro mors, how comes it strips the wheels down to just one coat? does this mean i haveto key it up and strip it again? or just sand down from here.?

just painted the wheels not in green and white. someones done this already but easier to get the pain straight in can from halfords. wheels just need a few coats of laquer then there done. and will be wrapped in some michelin pilots.

cheers.im really pissed of that the paint stripper didnt take the etch primer off. when i scraped thew striped paint off. its ground into the etch primer lol. couldnt be bothered to sand them down properly. shit job but better then paying £200+.

and yes laquer will make them sweet. should hide the defects.

GOT THE CAR LOWEREd on the front, was quite a mission to take the nearside arm of as it was rusty as hell. dont think it had ever been taken off . rear should be getting done week after the 21st. well low with the laguna splitter. surprised it dint fall of doing 130 and hit a dip in the road. poor roads lol.

the 10000k hid kit has arrived. will soon be fitted. has anyone got this one i have brought.nothing special but comes with 1year warranty for 35pounds. have seen them in action and they are good.



also got some secret items to be put in the VTS by this saturday or sunday :P

yh the paint job isnt very good as the paint stripper weakened the metal and when i was scraping the excess paint off it took chunks of alloy out lol. never mind now lol after these wheels i will be getting a set of banded steels with a deeeeeeep dish and streched tyres :P more mods sooon will keep updating

hmmm when i come to think of it i aint so keen as its the ONLY bit of white on the car and the wheels are a big thing.

I think if there was some more white, like a show cage as you mentioned it would compliment the car more.

Should have left it longer to dry :) Paint on mine didnt come off when wheels went back on...

got some crystal rear lights 2day in the post . sprayed the bottom half red. i think it looks smart imo. no other saxo has it like this around my area which is why i have done it.what you think.

yh the splitter is hanging off on one side mate. when i was gettin my car lowered i had no choice but to get it torn of by the driveway or else it wouldnt lower lol. will be ficed soon 100% lol.

and yes lights look smart i think. look like the 106 lights that come like this.

picked up my pressed plates 2day. look good i think.well worth 30pounds and road legal at the same time. heres a few pics. there slightly flexible too :P so i could slightly bend the fron one to flex with the bumper so i dont have to drill it on :)

yeah white mirror caps could work maybe get a photoshop done, i think something else you should get done is get all the matt plastic bits done in gloss black then it will look the dogs dangels :D lovely looking car btw :y:

got a std 106 gti backbox put on my car. took a while to fit as they dont fit very good but got it on best as we could and i like it. think its different and sounds beasty! got trs8 through centre box and decat pipe put on. soon will be a super sprint centre pipe+decat all in one and a 421 mani. sound the bolox then. inly got 2 pics for now as a few people wnated to see it. will try and get a video,wil look like a pleb though recording an exhuast outside my house but ill see if i can.wll get better pics when car is clean.

just cleaned the vts and i t cutted the badges black. cant get the rest of the dried wax out of the letters lol. ths is exactly how it looks now. quite a few mods since standard in 1 month.

Id have to agree with this comment! the splitters (esp laguna ones) just look like you have robbed it from the laguna because you havent got the doh* for a proper one.

* Obviously not the case with your car as it looks like you have spend loads of dollas and the rest is coming along really nicely!
