put my car into the garage today for a full service and to sort out some problems ive been having, idleing is fucked, cutting out, jolting when driving and sometimes serious lack of power when pulling off.
they rang me up this afternoon and said they would need the car for an extra day, and that there was " a considerable amount of work to do"!!!
just want the bastard thing to work! looks like im gonna pay thru the nose for it! smileys/smiley19.gif

they are going to give me the cost tomorrow. at the mo they are still diagnosing faults. not actually carying out the work. all i know is that i wanna get the car runing properly for the first time! ive had it a year now and never had it runing well!
basically there is shit loads wrong with it, the main probs i have listed. never been able to afford to have it looked at till now. got insurance and tax next month! smileys/smiley5.gif

I bet the bad idle/cutting out is something simple like a faulthy temp sensor or stepper motor.

i just got a call from shitroen. they have finished with the car and are happy with the way in which it is running. they are going to give it an emissions test in the morning. if all goes well then i wil get my car back. the bill has come to almost £700 tho!
now i have to wait till pay day again to get new brake pads, a new tyre and a new manifold!!!
