Wot do people think is best saxo or C2?

I was ondering what you lot thought was better the Saxo or the C2?
And has any of you lot on here modified a C2 yet?

Never driven a C2 so can't comment!!

I think the only person on here that can make judgement is Dave De Sousa... he had a Saxo, then got a C2.

i've had a vtr which i've dropped a vts engine into n my mam n dad have a C2 vtr i hated the C2's when they 1st came out i still dont really like them much i driven thier C2 loads n i find it fairly slow n i'm not a fan of the paddleshift gearbox the handlings ok but i'd pick the saxo anyday my mk1 just looks nicer has better handling and is way faster i've also driven a friends C2 vtr that was lowered they do handle well when they are lowered but i dont think they are as nice to drive as a saxo is

i have never driven one myself but i prefer the saxo. its just a nicer shape and looks alot nicer.

my bros c2 vts is lovely, performance is very similar to my vts and handling is the business!! if going to get a c2 it would have to be the s no question!

C2 vts is a manual box isnt?might have to go n take 1 for a test n see what they are like still dont think i'd change my saxo for 1 though

Depends what you want really.

The C2 feels newer and like a bigger car. Less noise etc.
It's just a good car. The Saxo feels cheaper and less well build, but it's way sportier. I prefer the Saxo for a ragging on some B roads, but would get the C2 for every day driving (but I've got a Leon for that smileys/smiley2.gif ).

All depends how much you wanna spend?

You could get yourself a really nice saxo for 3-4k.

If you like your wheels and wanna car that can take huge rims then the C2 is a better bet.

Down to personal choice at the end of the day.

i havent driven a c2 as such but have driven a c3 and did not like it one bit. im not sure if that really makes a difference anyway. but i would always choose a saxo over a c2.

personally i think the saxo is better looking than the c2. the saxo is more smooth lookin compared to the c2. i avent yet seen one fully modded so i would be intrested to see what it looks like if anyone has any pics? smileys/smiley14.gif

I have 1 pic of a modded C2. I personally prefer the saxo as it has better looks but don't mind the C2, my mum has a C3 which I'm not really keen on.

We can't say anything really about another cars feel unless we have driven it so I can't even really compare the C2 to my saxo as the saxo was a 1.1 so C2 will always feel miles better. And honestly even when I bought the C2 I wasn't in love with the looks, it has taken affect with time though.

I would love to have a saxo vts and do it up the way I would like but I couldn't live with the interior anymore, C2 is miles ahead! But then it should...

the saxo has it purfect! all citreon needed to do was revamp the saxo with very similar styling better safty features & rating (the reason it was discontinued) My thoughts would have been that a "Saxo GT" was required to spice up the scene & put the cat umugst the pigoens of cheap sporty hatchs... an ultra light but sold chassie, 1.6/1.8 16v block which was either tuned better or charged sumhow... rims of 16" duel exhausts & a 6 speed box & better stoppers,all would make it a classic hot seller...

Not alot of redesinin for a new car i think really!! BUT OH NO!! teh y bring out a fcukin granny match box, if im over 5"8"" i cant drive the bloody thing, smart car look alike, i was born from the saxos exhaust gasses, C2.... smileys/smiley7.gif IMO they are not to great! smileys/smiley17.gif

never drove a c2 but have to admit i dont mind the looks of them, nothing compared to saxos, i love my saxo and i think its so much fun to drive

but then the c2 is much much safer and from them pics it pulls of the euro style alot better than saxos

c4 is the one with the cool steering wheel, me dad was gona get a c4 vtr plus but decided on a ford focus estate.....stil question why
