Find a quiet room and have a cheeky sleep.

Should have set the alarm for a stupid hour this morning and got a few hours late afternoon.

Just imagine it as a night out away from home - you're normally out until 6-7 in the morning. no difference imo

Either that or keep busy and drink loads of coffee!

Snorting Maxwell house has the same effect tbh

Except the black snot is coffee not rotting nose. :P

But yeah i've been up many a night for course work, plus I used to work until 7 in the morning. At work I found it really easy as I was always busy. With course work I needed coffee as I was not really active.

It's awful! It just isn't natural! Esp in winter. Go to work and it's dark, come home and go to bed....dark. Wake up....dark.....ahhhhhhh!

Avoid coffee/rebull etc if you can- might sound stupid but it makes you feel worse by the end of the shift, water or lucozade is better.

The first night on is always the worst... but i'm sure youve stayed up untill 6am after a Friday/Saturday night anyway - Just dont make the mistake of over sleeping the next day, get to sleep as soon as you can after you get in - set an alarm for 8 hours time and force yourself to get up.

It's fairly easy to end up sleeping all day - try to organise doing stuff the next day that forces you to get up.

I love working nights... no boss, more money and less work.:drink:

energy drinks are really shit. they are designed to give you small boosts for long trips. your body can end up relying on them and ruin your body clock and can make you un fit. its best just to put up with the tiredness for the first few days then just hopefully get a routine.

i work nights, and i prefer it to days!! plus with my firm the money is better and i only work monday to friday! i work 36 hours and get paid for 52!! :y:

the way i cope if just to stay up as late as possible, get up a couple of hours before you need to leave, have a shower, eat some dinner and its all good :A:

I hated doing night shifts at the Petrol Station nr where I used to live.

11pm-7 am 5 days a week £6.18ph 40hrs a week, try ProPlus and Lucozade, it'll make you feel shit but it keeps you awake.
