I have been thinking about selling my saxo for a while, but then i always fall back in love with it.

Basically should i swap mine for this and cash my way.

http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/dan261288/Rallye3.jpg

It has 74k miles on it and is meant to be mint!

This is mine but with VTS wheels now.

106 looks nice but Age + miles

Id be keeping the S unless he offers 1.5k and his car

Yeh its a rallye but come on its just another 106 lol cant be that much better then a GTI/VTS if at all imo youd be mad to swap unless its 1.5k over, tis a nice car but so is the newer (alot) lower milleage almost same car,,..

probs only £400

Keep the Sax mate lower milege and younger but thats wat i think!!

thats what i thought, is it too new a car to rag round track next year?

Bonus of getting older car - not arsed about raggign it/ writing off.

Bonus of current car - all parts are newer and i know all of its history.

Looking at mine with white wheels it looks pure sex imo

Your VTS looks sweet mate probably more reliable than the Pug aswell depends though if you want a reliable car or one to rag round?

£400 isn't enough imo for yours, should be looking for about £600+

Thats my opinion. Personally i'd keep the sax

i love rallye's too always have, there all way over priced though.

I love the rare factor of it all.

Think my hearts saying keep the VTS, get it back to show room condition, stick to plan one paint underneath etc.

But part of me is saying theres cash there.

But you cant go faster and have a minter for less then £2800.........

Selling the reg for £450ish so suppose can pocket the money from that.

The rallyes arent better on fuel either.

I also prefer driving an 8v compared to 16v.

im retracting my statement...the vts mate....

i feel your pain on how hard it must be....the s is pure sex so i had to go back to that.... keep it mate..

rallye's only 412 left uk ones iirc.

just as quick as a VTS on the road till top end.....

Think i really need to decide.

I already know what am doing to the VTS if it stays.

Oh, saying that, keep the vts, for sure. Much rather have something newer and lower mileage, than a classic that your scared of thrashing.

Well think of it this way, why would if the car is so rare and desireable would the guy want to swap that and money for your vts?

I have no doubt they are nice and sure will be desireable but at the end of the day its only going to get older and more and more miles:) and be basically the same car lol but slightly different shell and layout..

Is there any major differences that would make the swap worth it apart from its going to be a classic?

ahh hmm

Well tbh, if it was me, an older ,more miles exactly the same sort of car for a newer less miles seems silly,

Paint your car blue, keep the alloys, change the gearbox lol

ok no doubt mint looking car lol but still not worth the bother imo :P

Sorry for the off topic but how nice is this (http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/727253.htm)? :fcuk:

i'd keep the vts and build a cheaper, older track car that you're not too bothered about putting in the kitty litter on a track

Yours is just a standard vtr not a rare car. Plus you wheel spin yours at macdonalds

Madder by the second then lol

Dont bother STEVE its just not worth it lol

Most people upgrade to VTS?GTI engines anyway so

You have a nice 52 plate VTS with the same gearbox, you know deep down youl end up regretting it,

Just remember its a R plate which means its quite abit older, has more miles, its probably on its way out LOL

VTS with rallye track wheels yoko semi slicks on.

Getting 206gti master cyl to get rid of pedal play with the 266mm brakes.

Will get the ABS sensors checked.

Will keep interior in...............

Clean and paint underneath.

Drop it another 5 - 10mm possible group n fronts and b8 rears.

But tbh the koni is a really good kit anyway.

Its getting a going over with a pc soon aswel.

Think am going to keep it............

Dont really regret selling the bits off it, bar the piper backbox lol

Still got all mounts and arb on it.

look at it from this point.. you know the parts of your car and your car, put money away then buy a car to rag/crash/track/ what eva you want to do. you dont wana swap your car for a car with unknown history. keep what you know and wait somthing will turn up
