howdy all, after 2 years of owning many of the well known "rollerskate", the fiat cinquecento, i have now moved onto the french scene as a new challenge.
i have carried out many conversions to the number of cinquecento's i have owned, from 1242 punto 60 8v FIRE engine conversions to turbo conversions.
after selling all the spare parts and cars i have bought myself a saxo vtr to play with. i paid 1000 for it with 76k on the clock, its a nice neat and tidy motor, with a little surface rust to the chassis leg (first priority to sort out before it eats the whole chassis) .
that was the only major thing wrong with it.
but after much research before buying one i have decided to start having a little play.
first on the books shall be a 16v conversion and a little lowering.
after this i shall to look into something a little more drastic (turbo maybe?),
who knows.
anyone thought id show my face here before posting anywhere else.
and i shall post some pictures up later this evening when i have the chance.
i'm looking forward to meeting new people here who can hopefully help me out where needed.
and i hope my previous experience can help others also on here,
cheers
