Best to either phone and ask or head down to a local garage and ask if they can do the torsion bar job.
Expect anywhere between £100 - £200 really (just on springs)..
with shocks it will be a fair bit more expensive.

if you ave already got the springs then your looking between £80-200 depending on the garage and also on the torsion bar as it could be ceased.

i got suspension kit for 220 50mm drop, then cost me 100 to get it all fitted and torsion bar adjusted to match. like everyone says its around 100-200 to get it lowered - dont just go to cheapest find out how many they have done b4 aswel

i think you usually pay for what you get. a cheap job can mean its not done as professionally but not in all cases

can really go wrong with lowering tbh. torsion bar is pretty easy to do so there shouldn't be any difficulties except maybe if the bars are seized. just make sure you avoid doing it by 'notches' and get it measured properly.

i paid 160 for my springs to be fitted and the torsion bar lowerd to match, the guy also made me sign a declaration saying in the event of an accident he was not responsable!! he said its dangerous just fitting lowering springs as they can dislocate over bumps?

lol should'nt have any worries then!obviously its always better to get both springs and shocks in my opinion but i havent heard of springs dislocating over bumps!

if you're going lower then 40mm it's recommended you get uprated shocks, but i had mine down 60mm for 2 years with standard shocks and was absolutely fine.

really?i thought the shocks would be wrecked after a few months if the car has been dropped over 50mm lol what springs did you have?
Sean

no idea, the springs were on when i bought it but i suspect they were P.i. springs. and the original shocks are still fine, even passed 2 mot's with 60mm springs and original shocks no bother. changed to avo shocks now though and the ride quality is much better.

i paid 170 with springs...
but ive just bought a new set of suspension - and im currently hunting prices to fit and drop the rear....its suprising how many people WONT touch a torsion!

oh rite.maybe it depends on what quality the original shocks are in

the difficulty being that if it's seized then it's an absolute cnut to free it. you could be looking at 2-3hours+ in labour charges plus the cost of lowering it.
