I live in a high-ish risk area so i thought, hmm i'll get a quote with my VTR garaged.

Quote for a GARAGED vtr: £1,429 full comp

Then i thought, hmm mum and dad use the garage so i can't, lets get a quote with it stored on my drive..

Qupte for VTR on my drive: £1,384 full comp

I was like wtf? How can it be 50 quid cheaper to have it on driveway than in a secure garage :S. Then i thought for a laugh i'd get a quote for it parked on the street.

Quote for VTR on the street: £1,374 full comp

LOL. I'm not complaining, i just find it funny how stupid online insurance quote software can be.

Ive had qoutes the same as that! thought id try to see how much cheaper in a garage and it ends up being abit more. Maybe its because there would be more damage during a theft, i dunno:wacko:

I think it's something to do with the errancy of comparison sites. See http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7389777.stm
