Paid Money from old job

Looked in my bank yesterday and a random amount of money got paid into my account so got a full statement and it was from my previous employer from like 1 month ago.

Thing is i cant see them paying me by mistake as there a big company etc and its all computerised.

Now if i spend it would i be abliged to pay it back if they asked??

I mean it would be there mistake not mine!!

if its monthly and you left a month ago, it might be wages your are owed

Get paid weekly from them and it was £215, its all hourly dependant that was id say an average of what i used to get.

Im thinking poss holiday pay i was owed?

Might be money they owe u like holiday pay u was owed etc! spent it dont worry bout it, its there fault! i got paid 1000 a month after i left a previous job and i spent it all and they never missed it! i didnt no what it was for but i wasnt too bothered tbh money in my bank is my money too be spent etc!! :)

my old job did this with me and gave me £500 which i spent, they then started to send me letters asking me for the money back i advised that it was there error and that i dont have to pay it back

they then stopped asking for it back as there was nothing they could do

dont worry about it mate its prob owed hol pay or something just spend it and enjoy it,
if they have made a mistake it might be weeks or even months before they realise.

best to check before spending it mate. i had a previous employer do that once spent it then got a letter from the bank saying i was due it back because it wasnt supposed to be there was well gutted

My dad got 70k put in his bank account from his work which is a massive company in manchester but he told them and they reversed the money from his account lol!!!
