Looking to get a VTR when i was 19, BUT looking for some quotes on CIS (Co-Op insurance) and it was coming out as £1200 FULLY COMP for a 18 year old. Bearing in mind i'll have a years NCB and a pass plus (So more like £1000)

I'm suprised about that.

Do these things guzzel fuel?

fuel economy all depends on how you drive it tbh mate, it can drink it if your flat out on the loud pedal all the time

They are not bad on fuel if you dont rag it everywhere.

1k sounds alright to insure it.

Never really understood insurance and i know this has no relevance to the topic but.. Why do some people pay out the ass for insurance?

18 when i past my test, VTR in my own NAME, third party fire and theft, 760 Pounds, Quinn Direct...

19, 1 years no claims, Bought my white VTS, 950 pounds insurance?

Does where you live really have that big of deal on insurance?

I guess where you live has DEFFO makes a differnce.

My maten lives 200metres away, got a K reg ASTRA 1.4 and he paid just over £1000 (£1010 or smething) and that was TPFT.. I tried insuraing his car in my name and cost £1500. both the same age etc. Just a different post code.

Insurance are killers. I understand why people dont have it, costs so much sometimes.

I moved house and obviously had to change the policy address etc and it was £200 more to insure than my old postcode

200m away isn't going to affect the price of the insurance. It's the first part of the postcode which determines the risk.
