lowering a mk1 1.1

i have purchased some lowering springs from a mate, they will drop my car buy 50 mm but he said the back arent on springs there on something else cant remember, butttt i wanna no how to lower it on my own without paying a garage

Its on a torsion bar mate their is a guide on here. You just have to lower it by how much you want but better off getting it done by someone who knows what they are doin as it is difficult
