something simlar to those.

im not gonna pee on the bomb fire here but honest to god to modify a MR2 its not that hard!

so far I have in my garage

border bumper & rear spats
bomex side skirts
clear front lights
clear side repeaters
coming in the post 18inch allesio alloys
and im currently watching a spoiler on flebay

them items alone once fitted totally transform the look of the mr2
its fitting them that is the bugger. on the saxo its like what 4 to 6 bolts and your front bumper is off. on the mr2 its 20 lol. to fit the side skirts the original side vents have to be removed which means taking out your rear doorcards removing the seat belts then unbolting them from the inside and then having to peel them off from the outside LOL.

once your into the world of jap cars you will find body parts are cheap. can get carbon fibre bonnets from USA for like £250 posted! its all the suspension, engine componants, wheels that cost a fortune. I just orderd some blue HT leads they cost me £80.

insurance on them aint to bad, there not that expensive to buy these days there pick up speed is awesome even on the N/A engine. alot of people at the moment at putting superchargers and V6's in there mr2's.

the best kit easily for the mr2 is the TRD wide body one.

love that kit but costs a fortune to get fitted proffesionally looking at around £2,500 and then £1,300 for the kit, so in total £3,800 and thats with it not even sprayed lol.

I was next to one with an SPL sub set up.

I couldnt work out how it made so much noise.
Theres no room in them!

I was next to one with an SPL sub set up.

I couldnt work out how it made so much noise.
Theres no room in them!

there actually is bud lol.

behind the seats there are compartments once you take them out there is rather a bit of room to mess about with when putting in an amp or a sub :).

pedal position in them are so nice you honestly feel like your in a sports car(think thats one of the many reasons why on insurane they are classed as sports/coupe cars :S)

between the seats there is an upright compartment that can also be removed..

in a car such as the mr2 im not even goin to bother with the sound system as it already has componant speakers, 6inch subs and door speakers as standard and in such a small cabined car that is easily enought! im more goin down the dvd sunvisors, apexi read out units and guages route :D.

interior wise you dont even honestly need to mess with it.
the drivers seat you cna adjust loads to the extend the wide wing bits you get on bucket seats on these you can bring them in or out more so you feel more secure to your seat. the dash and doorcards are mainly leather as standard. I have the blue interior clouth bucket seats blue leather dash and doorcards even my carpet is blue lol.

the standard steering wheel is shocking its crap. so im changing that soon. you can pick up a steering wheel and boss kit off ebay for next to nothing and thats a buy it now lol

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-MR2-90-95-Drift-Steering-Wheel-Boss-kit-94-93_W0QQitemZ230299032863QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item23 0299032863&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C 240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

the options on a mr2 are endless!

The blue car above with the celica lights is owned by a mate of mine, truely awesome car, lot of blood sweat and tears went into it.

The TRD kit is my favourite, and is the favourite of most MR2 enthusiasts.

But if you really want to push the boat out, buy a genuine TRD....A. if you can find one for sale, B. if you rob a bank.

Yeah it was a link to a build thread i had on the owners club. You now need to pay £5 to be a member to view it though.

I will see if i can find an old build thread on the car. Most of the photobucket photos have died though i think
