Hey all
Lately the gear changing has been weird
1st and 2nd sometimes does not want to go, ya gotta either force it in or go to 3rd and back into the gear
And sometimes its fine as anything ? :S
Any ideas?

or try a quickshift only £20
this reduces gear throw

Hi Damo. Hope you're OK mate? We met a while back at a 106OC. If your gears aren't crunching, you can't hear any whines etc. then I'd say it's probably the linkages.A slight bend can cause this.
I replaced mine with uprated ones from Constella (www.constella.co.uk), who also do quickshifts. Really easy job. Jack the car up and get underneath. Grab a 20mm spanner and a flat hear screwdriver. You'll see the linkages running across the bay, from the gearbox. They're ball jointed so use the spanner to pop the joints. Replace with your new linkages.
Whilst you're at it, check the main gear linkage bush. Following the linkage that runs from the gear lever towards the engine bay and you'll see a big "joint thingy" (very technical, I know!). Remove any crap that's been trapped in there and once it's clean reapply some grease. Check the condition of the bush too.
