rite got in my vtr the other day and it was like been in a swimming pool, all the passenger footwell was flooded but i have no idea were it came from any ideas

Similar thing happened to a mate of mines 106, his was on drivers side though. Not that it makes a difference.
We searched the lot! Wheel arches, under the car, random gromits etc etc. Couldn't find anything that would cause something as serious. The only thing we could put it down to was the fact he might not of shut the door or window properly.
Yours being on the passenger side could be just that. Maybe you had a friend in there and they didn't shut the door or window properly???

Strip it all out and get the hose on it. Get a friend to sit inside and see where the water's coming from :)

no the windows were shut, it was parked over nite wen it rained so cant see it been a hole in the wheel arch

i was thinking sunroof leaking but there was no sign of it dripping down the side or in the roof lining

no heater matrix is fine whats the best way of checking the windscreen?

Check the arial as well.

yer, check the arial m8, its suprising how mch water can come through it, that was the cause of my interior pond. i just replaced the arial base, couple of quid from shitroen.

mine is the same and it is the sunroof u have to take it all a part and clean out the drane off points there is four little holes
