it does unscrew, its just stiff

just yank on it really hard, mine was just a push on one, but watch out i gave my self a black eye pulling it off

i got it off was mine was on one aswell mate..but i tried fittin universal gear knob i got and wont go on..do you need to take the black part of aswell??

youve got to pull. but like scott says, be carefull. its really tight then suddenly comes off. i broke my nose and blacked an eye. lol saxo's tend to bite you back when you try changing bits.
