This one gets the dirt away from the paintwork i think, the halfords ones don't. Some of the people on DW use these sponges, i prefer a washmitt myself as it keeps my hands warm:p

theres no fibres that pick the dirt off, essentially youre still rubbing dirt onto the surface, just wondering how it works compared to a conventional sponge. either way im sticking to my wash mitt.
