Clunky Gears, and hard trying to get it into gear's after power washing

Ok, basicly, i powerwashed around and on the gear linkage, cause it had loads of crap on it, after i done that its very difficult to get it into gears now! im thinking maybe new gear linkages??? guys.... ???

POSSIBLY, I JUST PUT SOME GENERAL PURPOSE Lube stuff on it, to see if it works.. but how much would it be for a garage to replace the linkage???
