My Upper Strut Brace arrived this morning which I bought cheaply brand new from Mr Willy.

Thought it bolted straight on but o know!! Had to re-postion the fuel cut off switch. Didnt think I pushed it but something happened. Anyway fitted the brace and re-postioned it and thought yer that looks good. Came to start my engine and it didnt start! :panic: Had to push start wit my brother and some mates and got it going finally. Now the yellow light has come up on the dashboard saying theres something wrong with the fuel pump. Now I assume I must have pushed the button...

Sorry about the rant and long essay, but thought I would let you know to be careful when you fit yours.:p

have you pressed the button?

the cut off switch needs to the as near as vertical as i can as its a ball inside moves about and is pushed into position when you press the button. if its on an angle the bal could slightly be in position and therfore causing your problem.
