Right iv been on here for a while but never really felt like making a progress thread but iv now done a couple of things to get a thread started.
I saw car on auto trader its just over 2k with 44k on the clock ,i thought wasnt that bad its in good nik so i went to see it with my dad and put the deposit down for it i was happy as larry with it and couldnt wait to pick it up after it had a service done. the day i went to pick it up i was so exsited:panic: after driving around in my s**t fiesta 1.3 in brown yuck, so i then went to pick it up a couple of days later,so i jumped in the car and off i went and omg i loved it and had only driven it a mile :fcuk: but that day i was off to glastonbury festival so couldnt go on drivn it around grrrr.

once i got back from the festival i washed the car this is how it cam out not da best pick

then the next big thing was to get some alloys so i found some vtrs on ebay for £60 bargen but a bit of a drive to norwich, it gave me a chance to take the car for a long run.

Looking good, if you need a hand fitting the exhaust il help out. I had the race section on mine but was quite loud and raspy lol, so got the mid section 1 now.

um im not so sure about the injection pump but we did take out a ford sierra engine today and iv got to do a 20,000 mile service at some point.

aye the service is nice and easy like, level 2 is a breeze aslong as ya enjoyin it i found. level 3 is alot better, hardly removing parts or fitting things, all about diagnostics and fault finding. my first 4 practical assesments have all been inspections, havnt took anything off yet lol. get to use a dyno aswell and usin KTS machine. the theory side is more advance and abit harder but the practical stuff is very easy.

Depends what combo you go for etc, add a raceland on a furio or vtr and you'll see even more of a gain

i got hold of a pair raceland bucket seats and harnesses from sparco_tom to day so had them in the car only toke me and a mate (cutler) 30 mins to get them in.

seats look good in your car mate, i bought brackets for the subframes so you can mount belts/harnesses to the seat rather than the floor which it shows in the picture

Update

its been a while since iv updated iv only had a couple of things done and just repairs so iv had a hole new rear prity much new shoes,bearings,hubs the lot just to get it through the mot then about a week later i bought some 50mm ebech springs off finchy but didnt have the rear done, so today i took it over to R-Tec and meet Saxoal to get the rear done, but its a littel lower then i wonted so ill have to get some 60mm springs to match. but it handels so well now. anyway here are some pics.

Looks good mate, but think about the angle of driveshafts if you go any lower, it wont make it much better, best way of improving it now, is raising the rear a tad and fitting new shocks

MINI UPDATE

so with FCS coming up im trying to get the paint work to a decent standard so i went and bought a clay kit after seeing Cuter's the diffrence it made, so it took me about 4 and half hours to do the hole car it really needed doing. so here the results of all my hard work :)

UPDATE

So its been a long time since iv updated but any who i poped up to willsy and lee to get the suspension sorted because it was sitting way to low at the back and to hight on the front, i opted for the Apex 50mm kit witch from what i can tell, the 1 hour drive home is a really good kit so i would def recomend it to any one, any way here are the pics.
Iv got a pic of before and after so you can really see the diffrence.

Hi car felt brillent on the motor way not to hard, then when i came off holds well around the corners :) no bouncing around this time.

Clip stayed on but some grease got out so ill have a crack at it tomorrow with some deccent clips.
But apart from that its all good.
